BEFORE YOUR TATTOO

Prepare your skin optimally before your tattoo appointment to achieve the best possible result.
Before your appointment, make sure to eat and drink enough, and avoid alcohol and other intoxicants for 48 hours.

Your skin should be free from sunburn and not covered with self-tanner. It's also important to pay attention to irritated, dry, or cracked skin, as these areas cannot be tattooed. Avoid any injuries to your skin.

A few days before your appointment, you can do a gentle exfoliation and then care for your skin with moisturizer. This will help ensure your skin is in the best possible condition for your tattoo.

Here are some clothing recommendations depending on the body part being tattooed:

In general, it's advisable to wear dark, soft clothing on the day of your tattoo appointment.

For the legs: Wear very loose pants or a skirt that you can pull up.

For the back, ribs, or sternum: A button-up shirt or very loose t-shirt is a good choice.

For the arms: A top or t-shirt, possibly with a cardigan that you can easily move to the side.
